Overview: Vangold has staked an area with known gold occurrences and plans to design an exploration program to determine whether the source may be hosted within the Precambrian sediments of the Singo Series or within the numerous quartz veins that occur along its contact with the basement gneisses.

History: Previous exploration efforts indicated the presence of gold, but the source has not yet been located.

Geology: The area is underlain by sediments of the Precambrian Singo Series. This Series is comprised of conglomerates, sandstones, and minor shales. Numerous quartz veins have been recorded within the basement gneiss along its contact.

Past work Programs: Compilation of known gold occurrences has previously taken place in the area.

Current and Future Work Programs: Vangold plans to undertake a reconnaissance work program in the area in the near future.
